Privacy Policy

This page explains what happens to your information when you use the Meridian Academy website at meridianacademy.ca. Meridian Academy is an independent school in Regina, Saskatchewan. We have written this page in plain language so you can see exactly what the website does and does not do.

The website is a static site hosted on Cloudflare. Cloudflare processes requests to serve pages to you. It may also set cookies that are needed for security, for example to protect the site from abuse.

The site itself sets no cookies of its own. It has no analytics, advertising or tracking code.

The Contact page has a form that asks for your first name, last name, email, phone, and a message about what you are interested in or enquiring about. You must also tick a checkbox saying you have read and agreed to this Privacy Policy before you can submit the form.

When you submit the form, its contents are sent by email to the school at [email protected]. Your email address is set as the reply address, so the school can respond to you directly.

The website does not store form submissions. The email is the only copy, and it goes to the school's inbox.

The contact form uses Cloudflare Turnstile to check that a submission comes from a person and not a bot. To do this check, Turnstile may process technical information about your browser and device.

The application, registration, consent, medical history and other school forms on the site are Google Forms embedded in the page. Information you enter into those forms goes directly to the school's Google account under Google's terms. The website itself does not receive or store that information.

Some of these forms ask you to sign in to a Google account. If you are asked to sign in, that sign-in happens with Google.

The Contact page shows a map of the school's location. The map tiles come from OpenStreetMap, which means your browser loads them from OpenStreetMap's servers when you view the page.

The site links to other websites. These include the school's Facebook and Instagram pages, CanadaHelps (donations to Friends of Prairie Sky School), and The School Lens (a login for families). Those sites have their own privacy practices, so please read their policies when you visit them.

If you only read the pages of the website, the site itself sets no cookies and has no analytics, advertising or tracking code. If you use the contact form, your message is emailed to the school. If you use an embedded school form, your answers go to the school's Google account. If you have a question about any of this, we are happy to hear from you.

If you have questions about privacy on this website, contact Meridian Academy at [email protected] or (306) 352-1875. You can also write to the school at 1651 Anson Rd, Regina, SK S4P 0E1.
